CRYSTAL SELECTION AND PRESERVING

All crystals and gemstones 'vibrate' on their own individual frequency. In that respect they are similar to us human beings.

We have all had the experience of meeting a perfect stranger for the very first time and either liking that person immediately or feeling an antipathy towards them - without in any way being able to explain our feelings or emotions.

To fall in perfect love is a beautiful and wondrous experience - the coming together of two minds, two spirits and two physical bodies, both 'vibrating' on the same beautiful frequency!

Crystals and gemstones should be chosen in exactly the same way. It is so very important that the stones which we choose and use should 'vibrate' on a frequency as close as possible to our own.

Intuitively you will instinctively 'know' which stone you should choose and which is 'right' for you! You might feel as if the stone is jumping up and down shouting, "Me! Me! Me! Choose Me!"
Or you might sense or even 'see' a strong crystalline white light radiating from the stone and attracting you like a magnet.

The best way to choose a crystal is to listen to our intuition. In the crystal shops they usually offer us some tables of crystals according to an astrological sign or against a certain disease. Every human creates his own world and should be looked upon as such. Having health problems, we need to reconsider many different aspects of a person. To select the right crystal for ourselves, our intuition helps a lot. Before taking a crystal from the shelf one should relax, take a deep breath and leave his hand to choose for itself. Women and people who are in touch with the nature are specially good at that. Very sensitive persons with clean energy- body or aura can see or feel the heart of a crystal. We can ask in our mind whether a crystal is suitable for us or not. Real crystal therapeutists are able to communicate with crystals on a spiritual level. We should emphasize that a selected crystal needs to be positive and pure to serve its purpose and to be in harmony with the surroundings.

Crystal shops should offer already inspected and clean crystals. That would make the choosing much easier. We can only hope this will come true very soon. Buying a crystal, we invite a new living being in our life, that demands care just like plants, animals, people. It is the same as with children – as much you give, that much you get. Plants and animals give back the love they get from us, as well as crystals radiate good if they are well-kept. If we can not take care for plants, animals and crystals, it is better not to buy them. On the contrary, if we care for our positive crystals with love, we have a chance to make a true friend for good. How to clean positive crystals? We should clean them regularly in a thick solution of a sea salt.

The whole crystal should stay in the solution (at a ratio 9-salt to 1-water). The best way is to use glass holder. Never use metal and rather avoid plastic cups. Frequency of cleaning depends on how often we use them. Normally we do it once a month or once a week, personal crystals should be cleaned every day or after using. Apart from salt solution we can put the crystal out in the sun for two hours. Exposed to the sun a crystal regains the energy and purifies. The two methods mentioned are by my opinion the most reliable for the environment we live in. Positive crystals should be kept in natural materials (wood, glass, linen) away from electrical appliances, wires, installations and other harmful radiation. An impure positive crystal in the hand can also be felt like pricking. They should be regularly cleared with salt or in the sun, kept at appropriate places. This requires a large extent of consistency.
